PERFORMER DROP OFF/PICK UP:

Parents can drop their dancers off at the hallway to the LEFT upon entering the lobby area. There will be a staff member to check-in and out with. Parents may watch the performance for dress rehearsal, but no other guests are permitted to join. For the performances, parents and guests who arrive early to drop of performers will not be able to reserve seats or enter the theater until the doors open half an hour before showtime.

During dress rehearsal and the show, dancers who are only in the first half (party scene and battle scene) are free to change and join the audience during intermission to watch the second half of the show.

All dancers who are not in the second half, must be collected during intermission, but not before.

In between shows on Saturday, all dancers must leave the facility. There will be no supervision for anyone who stays on location, and the doors will be locked.

COSTUMES:

Performers must wear the appropriate tights, shoes, etc. required for their role in the dress rehearsal and the shows. You may opt to have your dancer wear a nude or light pink leotard underneath their costume for convenience, but it is not required. No other jewelry, rings, or any nail polish is acceptable as we are presenting ourselves as professionals.

Once your dancer is finished performing (during dress rehearsal AND between each show), all costumes must be returned to the costume manager, and props returned to the props manager. Any clothing or items left behind will not be saved. Any replacement of lost or damaged costumes is the responsibility of the dancer.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE...

Parents of younger dancers, please do your best to make sure there is NO CHANCE of your dancer creating a mess in the dressing room. Young dancers need to arrive with hair and makeup done - they should NOT have any extra makeup with them. There is NO FOOD allowed - so children should not have any snacks, colored drinks, or anything that could potentially stain costumes and classrooms.

Should your dancer have specific needs that you need to discuss, please email  ncyballet@gmail.com ASAP. Otherwise, any of these items will be removed from their possession and returned after their dancing is complete and they are out of costume.

We are very thankful for everyone’s participation and

enthusiasm around our production. Help us maintain a professional element as we

present our hard work to our friends and families!

Confirmed Volunteer/Donations Lists

Please take a moment to review what you signed up to bring for the concession stand and any volunteer jobs you selected.

Backstage Parent Reminder:
If you are signed up as a backstage parent for any show, you will need to attend the dress rehearsal this Thursday. This helps ensure everyone understands expectations, knows which room they’re responsible for, and is prepared to help backstage run smoothly. Backstage parents are responsible for keeping their area neat and the dancers engaged until their performance time. Please remember: no makeup, food, or drinks other than water are allowed in the rooms. We’ll provide coloring pages and crayons; feel free to bring other quiet, mess-free activities as well.

Snack/Water Donations:
All snack and water donations should be dropped off on Friday, December 5th at the concessions table when you drop your dancer off for call time. If no one is at the table, please cross your name off the list. If you didn’t get a chance to sign up for a donation, feel free to check in at the concession table on Saturday to see if anything needs restocking.
